Dynex's FRD modules regulate electricity flow to ensure higher reliability and increased efficiency in motor drives and other variable speed processes.
Dynex FRD Products
The new Dynex fast recovery diode module range includes single and dual diodes rated at both 1.8 kV and 3.3 kV. The 1.8 kV variants include single diodes in an L footprint package (106 X 62 mm) with ratings of 300 A and 600 A, and dual diodes in an F footprint package (130 X 140 mm) with ratings of 600 A, 900 A and 1200 A per diode. The 3.3 kV variants include single diodes on the L footprint (62 X 106 mm) and P footprint (140 X 73 mm), both with ratings of 400 A, or dual diodes on an N footprint (130 X 140 mm) with ratings of 400 A, 800 A and 1200 A per diode.
The new family of high-voltage fast recovery diode (FRD) modules has been designed for use in rail traction, industrial motor drives, induction heating and power generation. The FRD modules are designed to match and to work as the input rectifiers for the existing Dynex range of IGBT modules.
