Tony joined Dynex in September 1990 as an Apprentice working within various departments to gain full knowledge of the company operations. During his apprenticeship, Tony completed an Ordinary National Certificate (ONC) and a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Following successful completion of his apprenticeship, Tony began his career in the role of Associate Engineer. Over the years Tony has progressed in various engineering roles and became Group Leader of Test Engineering Support in 2013. In the 2015 Annual Recognition Awards Tony received an award for his leadership skills. Tony has since moved into the role of Production and Equipment Build Manager, working on various large scale projects, supporting customers and mentoring the Power Assemblies Team.
Rebecca joined Dynex in 2007 as a manufacturing operator within the wafer fab bay and progressed through the department to become a principal operator. Rebecca applied internally for a position within the customer service team and with a Continuous Professional Development (CDP) plan and the support of her line manager progressed into the role of Customer Service Manager within a five years. With extensive experience of the company operations, in 2018 Rebecca was offered the opportunity to manage both the planning and logistics teams alongside the recently growing customer service department.
Mark joined Dynex in 2007 as a Senior Development Engineer within the Research and Development department. Throughout his career at Dynex, Mark has achieved long term career goals, completing a HNC qualification and winning Employee of the Year in 2011. Mark’s current position is IGBT A&T Production Manager which involves managing all projects within IGBT production, working closely with customers to provide regular updates, overseeing the IGBT Production team whilst ensuring all necessary resources are available as required and production is on schedule to meet agreed deadlines.
Ephrem joined Dynex in 2015 as a Bipolar Test Engineer. With previous experience within the semiconductor business in France and Manchester, Ephrem was able to put his technical and scientific knowledge on challenging high value projects into practice. In 2017, Ephrem successfully completed a Talent Development Programme, during this time Dynex funded his place on the Developing Managerial Mindset course at the University Of Lincoln. The programme and the course enabled Ephrem’s leadership and career progression within Dynex which lead to this most current position of Senior Product Engineer.
Matthew joined Dynex in 2012 as a Stores Operative. After a few years of working within various goods receiving and dispatching roles, Matthew sought a new challenge and successfully applied for the position of Electrical Apprentice within the facilities department. During the four year apprenticeship, Matthew completed an NVQ level 3 in Electro-technical Installation and Maintenance. Following completion of his apprenticeship, Matthew began his career in the position of Facilities Engineering Technician and rapidly moved into a Senior Facilities Engineer Technician role. With dedication and support from his line manager, Matthew progressed to Facilities Shift Leader in 2019, helping to mentor others within the department.
Nathan joined Dynex in 2009 as an Electrical & Electronic Apprentice with Lincoln College. Throughout the four and a half year apprenticeship, Nathan gained experience within various departments to maximise his knowledge of the business. Whilst working towards his Higher National Certificate (HNC), Nathan also undertook additional evening courses funded by Dynex. During his apprenticeship Nathan spent time within the IT department subsequently, enjoying and gaining a permanent position within the team. Nathan completed a Talent Development Programme, which recently progressed his role from an IT support Technician to a Senior IT Systems & Software Engineer. In order to further develop Nathans knowledge and skillset, Dynex are funding his on-going degree in Computing and IT (Software Development) with the Open University.
