Exciting times are ahead as we continue to grow and prosper as a business. We are continuing to invest and increase our manufacturing and R&D capability significantly. The Electronic Assemblies team is currently working on a project to design, develop and produce a power inverter for electric and hybrid vehicles. To aid in the success of our project we are currently seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Sales Manager to work within our Automotive Electric Vehicle department. The main duties of the role will be to develop the company profile in marketing and technology to become a key supplier for Automotive E-Drive systems and components. The role will involve extensive travel within the UK and overseas so flexibility is a must.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience

Degree or equivalent in Electrical and / or Electronic Engineering, Sales & Marketing or a similarly related subject

Minimum of 5 years’ experience within an Automotive Electronics sales role

3 years’ experience within the electric vehicle industry is desirable

Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of dealing with a wide range of different cultures

Able to demonstrate an above average track record in sales over the past 18 months

Thorough and detailed understanding of high electric vehicle power trains

Familiar with the power electronics application and motor control systems

Results orientated with a pragmatic approach

Computer literate (Microsoft Office package)

 

Key Tasks

Oversee the whole of the sales process for Automotive E-Drive System and Components

Develop the company profile in marketing and technology to become a key supplier for Automotive E-Drive systems and components

To identify new business opportunities and customers for Europe

Increase and develop new business and achieve yearly sales targets

Bring in new project / platform design-in opportunities from OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers

Collect market information and customer requirements whilst participating in product roadmap planning
