We are currently looking to recruit a Manufacturing Operator to work the alternating shift pattern within ourIGBT Wafer Fab Production department. The main responsibilities of the role are operating machinery, working with chemicals and cleaning and etching wafers. Due to the nature of these activities, this role will require the use of full Clean Room clothing which includes a head to toe clean room suit, safety glasses and a mask to protect the products we work with. Full training for this role is provided and you do not require any previous experience although it is desirable.

Hours of work:            37 hours a week

Contract:                     Permanent

Salary:                         £19008.00  per annum 

Shift:                           Alternating shifts: Monday -Thursday 6:00am to 2:00pm 

                                     Friday 6:00am to 1.30pm / 2:00pm -10:00pm Monday to Thursday 

                                     Friday 1:30pm to 9:00pm (with a 30 minute unpaid lunch)

The Role

The main responsibilities of the Manufacturing Operator are operating machinery, working with chemicals and cleaning and etching wafers. Due to the nature of these activities, this role will require the use of full Clean Room clothing which includes a head to toe clean room suit, safety glasses and a mask to protect the products we work with.  The successful applicant will also be required to support the activities of the Manufacturing Group and Section Leaders to ensure that work is completed to a high level of accuracy. Full training for this role is provided and you do not require any previous experience although it is desirable.

The environment in which the Manufacturing Operator works is usually fast paced so you will need to be comfortable with this and able to deliver results.
