Dynex Semiconductor Ltd - COVID19 – Business update
On March 11th, 2020 the World Health Organisation (WHO) officially declared COVID-19 as a global pandemic. This situation is testing the resolve of all businesses globally, and Dynex Semiconductor Limited is no exception.
In response, the Management Board of Dynex Semiconductor Limited has initiated its business continuity plan with the primary objective of minimising the disruption and impact to its customers, suppliers and employees.
We are dedicated first and foremost to its people and its families; their safety and their well-being is paramount. With this in mind, and in line with the current UK government guidance and protective policies, such as social distancing, we have had to make necessary steps to provide a safe platform for our operational staff. Employees presenting symptoms have and will continue to self-isolate, where possible employees have switched to home working and external access to the company premises has been restricted. These steps have enabled us to keep our production facility in full operation.
At this time of uncertainty, we also recognize that delivering our commitments, providing support and collaboration with you our valued customers is essential. We are encouraging our teams to reach out and work together with you to formulate plans to support your business continuity and prevent long-term disruption.
Furthermore, our supply chain, locally and globally, with the continued support of our parent company in China, is being actively monitored. We are currently content that no immediate impact to our material supply is anticipated.
With these preventive measures in place, right now it’s business as usual. We will inform you as soon as practicably possible if our situation changes.
Thank you for your understanding and support during this period.
