Senior Test Engineer

It is an exciting time to be joining Dynex as we embark on a number of exciting projects, which you can be part of. We are looking for an experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our small team in Lincoln in delivering an array of test activities within our Bipolar Test Engineering Department.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Bipolar Test Group Leader, the main tasks and responsibilities of the role will be to ensure that a comprehensive programme of product improvements are identified by analysis of yield trends / shifts in test parameter ranges across the Bipolar product range.   • To deliver a comprehensive programme of product improvements are identified by analysis of yield trends / shifts in test parameter ranges across the Bipolar product range.
  • To coordinate and report on test trends associated with improvement activities within the Fab / Basic Units & Assembly areas of Bipolar manufacturing.
  • Actively participating in day-to-day testing and reliability activities.
  • Provide reports regularly to the wider Bipolar Engineering team on any anomalies or significant trend variations that need investigation.
  • Carry out failure analysis on test / qualification fails and present reports on causes / solutions / conclusions.

 

ABOUT YOU

As a team, we work closely together, we are looking for an experienced Test Engineer who has experience working in a similar environment and with hands on testing knowledge and expertise within Bipolar Semiconductors. To be considered for the role you require:

  • Experience working within the semiconductor Industry or equivalent
  • Experience using an array of testing equipment such as: High voltage/Current test equipment, Reliability test equipment, Oscilloscopes
  • Confidently able to identify and report test trends associated with improvement activities plus / solutions / conclusions
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to provide insight for future improvements.
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Recent experience and involvement in day-to-day testing activities related to qualification fails / causes
  • Experienced an able to write up reports outlining specified actions vs. outcomes.
  • Able to confidently present conclusions to team members based on the interpretation of the experimental data gathered.
