Graduate Development Programme

As a leading supplier of high power semiconductor devices and power assemblies Dynex operates a total quality management system, designed to provide our customers with products and services of the highest standard. Dynex Graduate Development Programme provides the opportunity to gain experience of our business through key placements across the organisation.

Mentoring, coaching and developing people starting off their careers is something Dynex takes seriously. With a team of highly knowledgeable and experienced leaders in our field, you can be sure that your career will flourish with first class training and support.

Over a 2 year programme Graduates will take part in a selection of 3- 6 month placements around the business. You’ll be assigned a dedicated mentor to provide support and guidance throughout your time here and to advise you on your training path.
Graduates will have the opportunity to work on different projects throughout the business, to work internationally, develop their professional network and get an understanding of the scope of our industry.

If you’re looking to take some time out of your degree, looking for a summer placement or some work experience, we can offer the opportunity for you to gain some experience, and give you the chance to be a part of this fascinating industry.

As a specialist engineering Company we believe that we are able to offer students a unique experience to lay the foundations for their careers. Experience comes from different sources and opportunities and with our diverse programmes you can expect to gain some real insight into the engineering industry.

Work Experience

Work experience provides students the opportunity to experience work in a ‘real life’ environment. It allows you to identify your interests, skills and preferences, allowing you to prepare for decisions you will have to make about your chosen education and career path.
We offer unpaid work experience and placements ranging from 1 – 8 weeks. Successful applicants will experience first hand how Dynex operates from the research and development stage through to shipping out our products to customers. Industry Placements

Depending on your course, you may be required to undertake up to 1 year of industry placements. Working in various departments of the business including Engineering and Research and Development, students will gain valuable industry knowledge and skills on our 1 year programme working with leaders in the electronic and semi conductor industry. Our industry placements will introduce you to our working environment and give you the opportunity to test your interest in a particular career before making permanent commitments. Apprenticeships are recognised and valued as a fundamental part in delivering increased productivity, greater staff retention through career progression, a motivated workforce and help us to identify our Technicians and Engineers of the future.

Dynex offers apprenticeships throughout our Engineering and Electrical operations teams every year to assist young learners develop their industry skills and offer a platform to a successful career. The Company is proud to have an excellent rate of retention of its apprentices after their training has completed – over 80% of our apprentices are offered full time positions upon completion!  Several members of our own Senior Management team started at Dynex as apprentices, showing there are no limits to what you can achieve with us.

Apprenticeships with Dynex take place over 4 years and we consider people at all stages of their training. Working with local Colleges and training providers we will support you in gaining Nationally Recognised professional qualifications, provide a solid foundation of practical knowledge and skills through on the job training alongside accomplished professionals in the industry; all whilst paying you a monthly salary!
