Lincoln, England, August 31st, 2006 – Dynex Power Inc., a leading,
independent power semiconductor company, today announced that it had
received an order from Converteam Ltd. valued at more than $2.3 million.
Dynex
will be supplying IGBT’s, thyristors and high power semiconductor
assemblies to Converteam, previously known as Alstom Power Conversion
Ltd., for use in the Royal Navy Type 45 Destroyer programme. Dynex has
already supplied parts for the first four ships being built. The latest
order is for the supply of parts to the last two of the six ships that
have been requisitioned. Deliveries will commence next month and will
run until the end of 2007.

launched in February of this year and we are proud that Dynex products
are being used in the electric propulsion systems that drive the 20MW
motors. The use of our IGBTs for efficient high power motor drives is

electric power and propulsion packages for the naval market”
